MARCH NEWSLETTER I had an exciting end to my holiday
at the Bedford. I got pulled over by the police for not having insurance on
my van! After half an hour in the back of the police car, I was exonerated
and allowed to drive home. No one could explain how the mistake had happened but I’ll be able to dine out on the adventure for
a while. The
new website is settling down but if you spot an error, please let me know. I
spotted one myself when preparing this! Here’s a list of holidays over
the next 6 months which still have spaces. Booking early is always
recommended especially if you want a single occupancy room or have a
favourite room in a particular hotel. Our recent first visit to the
Weston Hotel in Scarborough was a success so we’ve squeezed in another
holiday there this year from the 30th
November to the 3rd December and will be returning again next year. This month, I have a just two
superior sharing rooms (not available for single occupancy) left in Rock
House at the Netherwood Hotel from the 9th to 12th. Then I’m
back to the Skipton Hotel from the 16th to 19th . My allocation there has now been closed, but
more rooms might still be available, so if you want to come, I’ll be happy to
see if I can persuade them to let you have a room. There are still rooms
available at the Cave Castle Hotel.from the 23rd to 26th. In May, I have another holiday
at the Bedford Hotel from the 8th to 11th. Only rooms for double occupancy are available,
so if you want to come on your own, you’ll have to go on the waiting list. In June, from the 1st to 4th , I’m off to the North Euston in Fleetwood. Twixmas
guests were impressed with the hotel when we were there at the end of last
year. The only complaint I had was that the portions were too large, but I’m
afraid there’s no arguing with Lancashire hospitality! Then it’s the Skipton Hotel
from the 12th to 15th before the Netherwood Hotel, Grange over Sands,
from the 21st to 26th . In July, there is just one
holiday – 5 nights at the Bedford, Lytham St Annes, from the 26th to 31st. This month sees the last
opportunity to book for Ednam House in the delightful town of Kelso in the
Scottish borders from the 10th to 14th August. Immediately afterwards, from the 14th to 17th ,
we’re back at Shap Wells. Then there’s another trip to
the North Euston in Fleetwood from the 24th to 27th before a 4
night holiday to Cave Castle from the 31st. Holidays between now and
August missing from this newsletter are already fully booked. For details of all these
holidays, click on the dates above. If you wish to be added to the waiting
list for holidays on the website (www.helensbridgeholidays.co.uk) which are currently fully booked, just send me an
email. There is no obligation. If I have a cancellation, I contact you to see
if you’re still interested and available. I now have a new bank
account. If you would like to pay your bridge fees by bank transfer, you can
request a link from me, via your mobile or email, which will take you to your
own bank account with all my details filled in for you, completely free of charge.
